BREAKFAST MUFFINS 
1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk

Mix together shortening, sugar, and egg in bowl. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and add to batter alternating with 1/2 cup milk. Grease muffin pans. Fill 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden. Remove form pan immediately and roll in 6 tablespoons melted butter and then in mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Serves 12.
