BREAKFAST MUFFINS 
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. oil
2/3 c. chopped walnuts
1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1/4 c. sweetened cocoa mix

Sift flour with next 3 ingredients. Combine egg, milk and oil; stir into dry mixture only until moistened. Fold in walnuts. Divide into 3 portions; stir cherries into one and spoon into one side of 14 greased muffin pan. Stir cocoa mix into remaining batter and fill other side of pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 14 two-tone muffins.
