GREEN BEANS STEAK DI NAPOLI | |
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. beef round steak, 3/4 to 1 inch thick 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. salad oil 1 can (15 1/2 oz.) spaghetti sauce with mushrooms 1 pkg. (9 oz.) frozen Italian green beans 1 can (16 oz.) whole onions, drained Cut meat into 6 pieces. Mix flour, salt, oregano and pepper. Coat meat. Heat oil in large skillet, brown meat over medium heat. Drain off fat. Transfer meat to ungreased baking dish, 13 1/2 x 9 x 2 inches. Pour spaghetti sauce over meat. Cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/4 hours. Add frozen beans and onions. Bake until vegetables and meat are tender, about 45 minutes. |
