SEHR GUT OXTAIL SOUP 
5 lbs. oxtails
64 oz. water
1 (303 size) can tomato sauce
1 pkg. dehydrated onion soup
1 pkg. dehydrated chicken noodle soup
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1 can mixed vegetables

(If more salt is desired, use beef or chicken bouillon cubes to fortify flavor)

Cover oxtails with water, tomato sauce in a covered soup kettle. Bring to a rolling boil and add onion soup mix. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 hours (overnight is easy).; When done, remove meat, cool and separate meat from bone.

Add celery and parsley to broth and cook until tender. Add can of mixed vegetables and dehydrated chicken noodle soup mixture. Return chopped meat to mixture and serve piping hot with homemade bread. On a cold winter night -- Ach, Sehr Gut!!!

This is THE best and THE easiest oxtail soup I have ever made! I took it to a pot luck family gathering with at least 30 other dishes there and didn't have any left to take home! I added zucchini at the end and let it cook during the last hour. Yum!!!

This recipe was delicious. I added leftover corn and fried cabbage plus leftover fine noodles. Also I added 2 tbsp. Tones chicken base. This made a very hearty soup that topped off a cool autumn day. Definite keeper recipe!
