CREAM OF ONION SOUP 
Melt 1/4 cup butter in skillet. Add 4 thinly sliced medium onions and 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Cover; cook onions until tender and caramelized. Add mixture to 3 cups thin white sauce. Add 1/2 cup milk. Heat; season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Serves 6.
