TEXAS PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. white corn syrup
1 c. pecan pieces
1 tbsp. butter
Unbaked pie shell

Mix eggs and sugar well with mixer. Add syrup and beat again to mix. Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 300 degrees for 35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
