My family was really disappointed that these cookies are no longer available. I made the recipe for filling as above and sandwiched it between nilla vanilla wafers. Not as good but a suitable replacement.

These wonderful cookies were taken off the market in 2009...Don't know why...Wish they were back... :(

ANGINETTI COOKIES (LIKE STELLA DORO)

I couldn't find anginetti's anywhere! I was asked to make the cookies w/cream filling for my son's return home party! SOOOOO Disappointed and so was he!

I am so disappointed - seems the Anginetti are no longer available...what a shame. They were the best!!! and the wonderful variations of recipes that call for them...does anyone know if there is a similar product made by someone else?

I just called the company in South Carolina, they no longer make the cookies. I can't believe it. If anyone has a substitute let us know.

Actually, I make mine with no sugar. Everyone loves it. I too, have been searching for the Anginetti cookies. I picked up the Anisettte Sponge Cookie and am trying that out for the 4th. Different shape, not sure how the stuffing will stay put in the thin slices. More later.

I have been looking for your anginetti cookies and every grocery store, quick check, krauzers don't have any. Please put them back in stores. There is no substitute that I could find.

I have also been searching for the anginettis for months, to no avail. I just visited the Stella D'oro official site and they don't even list these cookies anymore!

Glad to see I'm not alone. I've picked up another Stella Doro cookie, seems like it might do, time will tell. One side is flat, which might work like a sandwich. But very disappointed. This was a really great desert, and introduced me to their products. Checked several stores in eastern MA, nothing, and their website does not list it.

Well, I haven't been able to find them down here either. I love to make this recipe and would like to find out if they are still being made.Can the makers please tell us what is going on. I will be in Cape Cod for the summer and would like to make them for my family and friends. Let's hear from someone.

I live in RI and wanted to bring the anginetti cookies filled with Cool Whip and pineapple to a funeral gathering because the dessert is a special pastry,and I looked all over and I was so disappointed. I came to this site and I will be calling 1-800-995-2623 to try to get them back.

These cookies are an all time favorite! I am very disappointed.

Stella Doro has been bought out by "Lance" Co. They are no longer making Anginetti cookies as of Nov. 2009! call 1-800-995-2623 to complain. Maybe if they get a big enough response they will bring them back!

I live in MA and cannot find them either. U called the company back in dec. and they said that the factory had been relocated and they should start supplying stores sometime around march or april. So keep your eye out.
