CHIPAROO BARS 
2/3 c. cooking oil
2 2/3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 lb. light brown sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. walnuts (opt.)

Blend oil and sugar. Mix well after each. Add eggs, one at a time and mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix. Stir in chips and nuts. Spread in buttered pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Yield: 4 dozen.
