GRANDMA LOW'S EASY BANANA BREAD | |
Add more or less nuts to your taste. EASY! 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1 cup white sugar 2 eggs 3 large or 4 small bananas 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 cup chopped nuts, walnuts or pecans Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix together the first three ingredients. Mash bananas and add to above mixture. Add vanilla to the same. Combine baking soda, salt and flour together and gradually add to the wet mixture. Add the chopped nuts and pour into two lightly greased (butter pan spray) loaf pans. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes to an hour, check with a toothpick about 1-inch in from the side and if it comes out clean its done. Makes two good size loaves. Submitted by: Her Grand Daughter |
