GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. water
4-6 cooked potatoes
Onion
Green pepper
Pimento

Fry bacon in small pieces; drain on paper towel. Add onion and green pepper, flour, vinegar, sugar and water and mix well right in the frying pan. Then add the cut up potatoes and pimento and let them heat slowly. This is better if made the day before needed and reheated when needed. The flavor seems to be better.
