FAMOUS CANDY BARS 
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white syrup
3/4 c. chunky peanut butter
1/4 c. butter
8 c. corn flakes
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp. peanut butter

Mix sugar, butter and syrup in a saucepan, place over low heat and bring to a boil for 1 minute. Add peanut butter and stir well. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, stir together corn flakes and sugar-syrup mixture. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan and firmly press mixture into pan. Melt chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon peanut butter together and pour over mixture in pan. Refrigerate until cool. Cut and serve.
