STRAWBERRY PIE SQUARES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. sugar

Mix crust ingredients and pat into 9 inch square pan. Bake until lightly browned. Cool. Oven at 350 degrees.

FILLING:

1 c. water
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
2 drops red food color
3 tbsp. strawberry Jello
1 pt. fresh strawberries, sliced

Combine water, sugar, cornstarch and food coloring. Boil until clear. Add strawberry Jello. Cool.

When cooled, add sliced strawberries. Put into baked crust and chill. Garnish with layer of whipped cream. Cut into squares and serve.
