BREAKFAST BEFORE SOUFFLE (#1) 
3/4 lb. sausage
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 tsp. dry mustard
3/4 c. grated cheddar
5 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
2 slices cubed fresh white bread

Grease an 8"x8" casserole. Fry, drain and break up sausage. Mix remaining ingredients. Add sausage. Pour into casserole and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares to serve.

Serves 4 to 6. Great for holidays like Christmas or if you have company.
