BOILED CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
6 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. water

Boil and pour over. 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. buttermilk (or 1/2 tsp. vinegar in milk) 1 tsp. baking soda

Beat and add 2 cups sugar and 2 cups flour.

FROSTING:

1/4 lb. butter
6 tbsp. cocoa
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts
1 lb. (4 c.) powdered sugar

Boil butter, cocoa, and milk. Add rest of ingredients. Put on cake as it comes out of the oven. Makes a moist cake.
