3 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. pumpkin
1 c. Crisco oil
2 1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. cold water
1 c. black walnut meats

Sift flour, soda, salt, and spices; set aside. Mix sugar, eggs, pumpkin, oil, and cold water. Add nuts last. Grease and flour 3 loaf pans, 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2. Bake one hour at 350 degrees.
