SPANISH LASAGNA 
8 oz. cooked lasagna noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped celery
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. oregano
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Italian herb seasoning
1 c. light cream
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
1/2 c. white wine
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. shredded gouda
12 oz. creamed cottage cheese
1 slightly beaten egg
12 oz. mozzarella

Cook beef, celery, onion and garlic until tender. Drain. Stir in seasonings. Add cream and cream cheese. Cook until cream cheese melts. Stir in wine, then cheddar and gouda. Stir together cottage cheese and egg. Layer half the noodles, then half the meat sauce, half cottage cheese mixture and half mozzarella. Repeat. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Makes 16 servings.
