BARBECUED PORK CHOPS 
2 1/2 or 3 lbs. pork chops
3 tbsp. shortening
1 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1 lg. onion
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. chili powder

Brown pork chops in shortening. Drain off excess drippings. Slice onion over meat. Mix other ingredients and pour over meat. Put in oven and bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours or pressure 45 minutes at 10 lbs. After meat is tender take out of sauce. Sauce can be thickened with 1 tsp. flour mixed in 1/4 cup water and be used as gravy. Serves 6 or 8.
