SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 pkg. onion soup mix
2 eggs
Parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs soaked in water
1/8 c. Romano cheese
Basil
2 cloves garlic, crushed

Combine all ingredients and shape into 1 inch balls. Brown meatballs in large pan, shaking frequently to brown on all sides. Do this in a little butter if meat is nice and lean.

Place meatballs and hot sweet and sour cranberry sauce in chafing dish. Makes about 40-50 meatballs.

SWEET AND SOUR CRANBERRY SAUCE:

1 c. cranberry sauce, whole or jellied
1/2 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 c. honey

Combine all ingredients and simmer over low heat for 15-20 minutes. Add meatballs and heat thoroughly. Goes great on pork also!
