1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Beat well with mixer. Sift:

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda

Add to creamed mixture and beat. Grease and flour 9 x 13 or 8 x 12 inch pan and spread half the batter into pan. Cover with half the following mixture:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chocolate chips

Top with remaining batter and sprinkle remaining chocolate mixture on top. Bake 30 minutes.
