CHOCOLATE CLUSTER COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate (melted)
2 c. chopped walnuts

Cream butter, sugar and syrup until fluffy. Beat in eggs. Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients together and stir into creamed mixture, then stir in nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

FROSTING FOR COOKIES:

2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
6 tbsp. butter

Stir over low heat until melted. Remove from heat and add: 2 tsp. vanilla Hot water to make spreading consistency
