2 c. frozen hash brown potatoes
1 tbsp. minced onion
2 c. water
2 c. whole milk
1 tbsp. butter
Salt, pepper to taste

Boil potatoes and onion in water until potatoes are done. Add milk and heat to boiling. Add butter and season to taste.
