BEER CHEESE SOUP 
3/4 c. carrots
1/2 c. celery
1/4 c. onion
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

1/8 tsp. pepper
2 (14.5 oz.) can chicken broth
2 c. half & half
2 c. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
6 oz. beer (a little less)

Add vegetable mixture to broth and simmer, stirring constantly.
