COMPANY'S COMING 
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
18 crushed crackers
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (9 oz.) cartons Cool Whip
5 oz. pineapple preserves
1 (7 oz.) pkg. Angel Flake coconut

Beat egg whites, adding cream of tartar, sugar, and vanilla while beating. Fold in nuts and cracker crumbs. Spread in a greased (butter) baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool. Then top with mixture of Cool Whip, preserves, and coconut that have been combined. Chill for several hours and cut in squares to serve.
