WHOLE WHEAT BEAD | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1 1/4 c. warm water 2 tbsp. honey or brown sugar 2 tbsp. Wesson oil 2 tsp. salt 1 c. whole wheat flour 2 3/4 c. all purpose flour Sprinkle yeast over warm water until dissolved. Add honey, oil, salt and whole wheat flour and 1 cup white flour. Beat 2 minutes. Add rest of flour, beat until smooth. Let rise, covered in warm place until doubled. Stir down, knead 25 times. Put in oiled 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Let rise until it reaches top. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. |
