LINGUINE AND CLAM SAUCE 
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. olive oil
1 tbsp. parsley
1/4 tsp. each: oregano, basil and marjoram
1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can minced clams, do not drain
Parmesan cheese

Saute garlic in hot oil 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients (except cheese). Simmer 10 minutes or until desired thickness. Serve over linguini. Top with cheese. Serves 4.

RED CLAM SAUCE:

Add 1 large can Italian style tomatoes or whole ripe tomatoes and 1 can tomato sauce. Simmer to desired thickness, 30-45 minutes. Add minced clams the last 15 minutes.
