CLAM SAUCE FOR LINGUINE 
1 lb. pasta, cooked a la dente (important)
1/2 c. butter, don't cheat, no substitutions. This is important!
2 cloves of garlic or more
1 tsp. basil
2 tbsp. parsley, use fresh
1 can clam juice
1/4 c. dry white wine
2 (8 oz.) clams with juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese

Melt butter and add garlic, basil and parsley, cook 2 minutes. Add clam juice, wine and clams with juice. Stir until slightly thick. Add to the 1 lb. pasta, toss and cook until liquid is absorbed. Serve with Parmesan cheese. We garnish this with steamed clams.
