I love this so much!! My great grandma has made it since I was a kid and it is sooo delicious.

My son is having a puppy dog birthday party and I'm going to make this and put it in paper sacks with a label that says "Puppy Chow" as take home gifts.

Add pretzel sticks & peanuts for extra wonderfulness - also after well mixed - toss in some crunch & munch !

I LOVE this mix. Got the recipe when I was 10yo from a friend. 23yrs later, it's still my favorite sweet snack.. so good!

Awesome recipe, btw 9 cups is about 1 box aka 14.25 oz, and if you are out of chocolate chips 6 mini hershey bars from your child's halloween leftovers and one full size hershey bar makes about 1 cup chocolate chips.

I like to mix it up with white chips, carmel & choc chips or toffee.

I'm with the rest of you.. I love this recipe.. easy and so delicious.. always a success. I do use extra crunchy peanut butter and also add some butterscotch chips.. just for extra flavor.... always get rave reviews..... I have also had it served with salty peanuts mixed in when ready to serve... makes for a nice salty/sweet combo....
