Can the peanut butter be substituted for soy butter? Are there any ingredients I would need to alter? (My middle child is allergic to peanuts.)

Lisa, my daughter is also allergic to peanuts, so we use Nutella instead of peanut butter... Nutella is made from hazelnuts, and it tastes divine...

Can you use crunchy peanut butter? My grandkids like crunchy better than plain?

I had high expectations, it was okay. Way too peanut buttery and its not something I like. Next time, I'm leaving out the pb.

I use to not use vanilla and butter. but when i did, it made the chocolate and putter butter so much smoother!! :)

I bought a plastic dog food bowl (only used for human puppy chow) and use it to serve puppy chow at parties. Lots of comments and laughs.

i love this recipe but the mixing the chex and chocalate together was sort of a pain

...also, in regards to Martha from Ohio, what made you think you could give it to your dog? I understand it's called Puppy Chow, but it DOES have chocolate in it, I assume most people know you can't give chocolate to a dog :)
