BEEF WITH GREEN PEPPERS 
1 lb. round or sirloin
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. wine
3 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. MSG
1/4 c. oil
1 tbsp. chopped
Green onion
1 tsp. chopped ginger
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
4 to 6 green peppers

Slice beef into thin pieces. Mix with soy sauce, wine, water, cornstarch, and MSG. Chop green peppers. Heat 1/4 cup oil. Add green onion, ginger, and then beef; cook about 2 minutes, then remove to a plate. Fry green pepper barely; add soy sauce, sugar, then beef. Stir well.

Fresh snow peas may be used, then omit green pepper. Use about 1/4 pound and only cook about 1 minute.
