STIR FRIED BEEF WITH GREEN
PEPPERS
 
2/3 lb. beef tenderloin or whatever

Mix the following: 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. wine or sherry 5 tbsp. water

Mix the following: 1 tsp. cornstarch 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vinegar 4 tbsp. water Dash of MSG

Shred meat across grain. Mix with first mixture. Add cornstarch, 2 teaspoons. Mix, then marinate for 1 hour. Add 1 tablespoon peanut oil and mix. Heat wok and oil. When oil is hot, put meat in wok. Use chopsticks or long fork to stir fry. Stir fry until the color changes. Remove and drain. Add 4 tablespoons oil and stir fry 2 cups green peppers or whatever and 2 tablespoons water. Stir fry lightly, then add beef and second mixture. Toss lightly. Remove to serving platter. Serve with sauces. Some ingredients we use: Green and red peppers, snow peas, mushrooms, sweet onions, water chestnuts, carrots, tomatoes, cucumber slices.
