CHOPPED MEAT CHOP SUEY 
1 lb. meat (pork or beef), chopped
1 onion, sliced finely
1 green pepper, sliced
2 c. celery, chopped
1 c. water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can chow mein noodles
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced

Brown meat and onions. Add green pepper, celery and 1 cup water. Simmer 10 minutes. Then add mushroom soup, chow mein noodles (save a few for topping), and sliced mushrooms. Place in a buttered casserole dish, sprinkling with the reserved noodles. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
