FROZEN SLAW | |
1 med. cabbage, chopped or shredded 3 ribs celery, chopped 1/2 green pepper, chopped 1 c. white vinegar 1 tsp. salt 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. mustard seed Sprinkle salt over cabbage and let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out fluid, mix cabbage, celery and green pepper. Mix remaining ingredients and let come to a boil. Boil 1 minute, cool. Pour over cabbage mixture and freeze. Slaw is crisp when defrosted. |
