PIZZA POCKETS 
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. warm water
1 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 to 4 c. flour, divided

Combine yeast, sugar and warm water; stir to let yeast dissolve; set aside. Combine and heat to melt butter, 1 cup milk then add salt; let cool. Put milk mixture in large bowl, stir in egg. Add 2 cups flour. Add yeast mixture. Stir until well blended. Add remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, to form soft dough. Mixture will be sticky. Use hands to mix dough until all flour is absorbed into dough. DO NOT KNEAD. Put into a greased bowl. Cover and let rise one hour in warm place. While dough is rising make filling. Serves 18 to 20.
