CRANBERRY ORANGE LOAF 
2 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. shortening
1 beaten egg
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cranberry orange relish, thawed
1/2 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. water
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Into larger bowl, sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and soda. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine egg, relish, orange juice, water and nuts. Add all at once to dry ingredients. Stir until moistened. Turn into greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool thoroughly.
