CRANBERRY ORANGE TRIFLE 
2 c. fresh cranberries
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
2 tbsp. orange marmalade
2 1/2 c. milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cooked-type vanilla pudding mix
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 (10 1/2 oz.) loaf angel food cake
1 3/4 c. thawed Cool Whip

Combine cranberries, sugar and water in 1-quart glass mix 'n pour bowl. Microwave uncovered 6-7 minutes or until berries are tender. Stir once. Stir in orange marmalade. Set aside.

Combine milk and pudding mix in 4-cup glass measure. Mix well. Microwave uncovered 7-8 minutes or until mixture boils and thickens, stirring 2 or 3 times. Stir in almond extract. Cut cake in 3/4 inch cubes.

Place half of cubes in 2-quart glass bowl. Spoon half of berry mixture over cake. Top with half of pudding. Repeat with cake, sauce and pudding. Cover and refrigerate overnight or until chilled. Top with Cool Whip.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
