SCALLOPED POTATOES 
7 med. potatoes
1/4 c. butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pt. sour cream
1-1/2 c. cheddar cheese
1/2 c. green onion (optional)
1 sm. can French fried onions

Boil potatoes. Cool, peel, and slice or grate into 9 x 13 inch pan. In saucepan heat butter, soup, sour cream, 1 cup cheese, and green onion. Pour over potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Last 10 minutes, top with 1/2 cup cheese and can of French fried onions.
