CINCINNATI -STYLE CHILI 
3 lbs. lean ground beef
1 1/2 qts. water
3 to 4 onions, chopped
12 oz. tomato paste
4 bay leaves
4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 garlic cloves, chopped
3/4 tsp. cumin
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. black pepper
3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 tbsp. allspice
1/2 c. soy sauce
Salt to taste

Put ground beef in water and break up with potato masher. Add onions. Start cooking over medium heat, then add remaining ingredients. Let cook until it boils, then cover and simmer 3 to 4 hours. Best served over spaghetti, topped with chopped onions and grated Cheddar cheese.
