HEARTY ITALIAN SOUP 
1 lb. mild Italian sausage, removed from casing
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 med. onion, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (8 oz.) cans water
3 chicken bouillon cubes
3/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. small shell macaroni
Shredded cheese - whatever kind you prefer

Brown meat, green pepper and onion. Drain grease. Stir in all ingredients except shells. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add macaroni; cover and simmer until pasta is tender. (It may be necessary to add more water if soup becomes too thick.) Serve in bowls topped with shredded cheese.
