8 MILKY WAY®
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. nuts, chopped

Melt MILKY WAY® and add one stick butter. Set aside. Cream one stick butter with sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour and buttermilk to which soda and vanilla have been added and chopped nuts.

Bake slow in tube or oblong pan 1 hour at 300°F.

Frosting:

3 MILKY WAY®
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar

Put on cooled cake.
