MOUNDS BAR CAKE 
chocolate cake mix

Using any good chocolate cake mix, prepare according to instructions and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Divide cake in half when done and cooled.

Coconut Filling:

2 c. coconut

Cook over low heat until marshmallows melt. Set aside and let cool. Spread between cake layers.

Chocolate Icing:

2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
pinch of salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. white Karo syrup

Combine sugar, butter, cocoa, milk, salt and Karo. Boil 1 minute; add vanilla. Beat and pour over cake. Use a few pecans on top for decoration.
