MISSISSIPPI MUD PIE 
1 stick butter
3 oz. squares unsweetened chocolate
3 eggs
3 tbsp. white Karo
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 unbaked single pie crust

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9" pastry dish with pie crust.

2. Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan.

3. Beat eggs until light and frothy. Stir in Karo, sugar and vanilla. Beat until blended. Pour in chocolate mixture and beat.

4. Pour filling into pie crust. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until top is slightly crunchy. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Filling should be set but soft inside like fudge. Wonderful served warm.

Wow! It took this many to find the same recipe that I make! This is a great tasting, dense, fudgy chocolate pie w/o flour! I'd not seen the 9x13 versions before and will try at least one but will never replace my first!
