MUD PIE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. water
8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a plastic bag, place the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, soda and salt. Close bag and seal. Shake to mix. Put mixture into an ungreased pan. Use fork to make a hole in the middle of mixture.

Measure oil, add vinegar and oil. Pour into hole. Measure water, pour water in hole. Use table fork to stir all ingredients. Bake 40-45 minutes. Serves 12. Suggestion: Serve with scoop vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup.
