HOMEMADE PASTE | |
1 c. boiling water 1 tbsp. powdered alum 1 tsp. oil of cloves 1 pt. cold water 1 pt. flour Boil the water and add the powdered alum. Gradually add the cold water to the flour; mix until smooth. Pour the flour mixture slowly into the boiling alum water. Stir constantly as the mixture cooks. Cook until it has a bluish cast. Remove from the stove and add oil of cloves. Stir. Store in an air-tight container. |
