SCALLOPED POTATOES FOR 2 TO 4
PERSONS
 
3-4 c. potatoes, thinly sliced, peeled, raw potatoes
Salt & pepper
1 tbsp. minced onion
2-4 tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. milk, heated

Heat oven to 350 degrees (moderate). Arrange potatoes in layers in greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle each layer with salt, pepper and minced onion. Dot with butter (butter). Pour hot milk over top. Bake, uncovered 1 1/4 hours until tender. Moisten left over potatoes with milk when reheating.
