DECORATOR'S FROSTING 
(Can be used in pastry tubes. Half of this recipe will frost a small wedding cake or regular cake.)

5 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. milk

Mix, then add:

1 tbsp. Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
Flavoring to taste (2 tsp. vanilla, almond, etc.)

Mix for 5 minutes at slow speed, then add:

2 c. Crisco
3 c. powdered sugar

Mix 5 more minutes.
