OVEN BARBECUED RIBS 
3-4 lbs. pork spareribs

Cut ribs in serving pieces. Simmer until nearly tender, about 1 hour (or pressure cook).

Meanwhile, prepare sauce: 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/2 c. catsup 1/3 c. chili sauce 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 tbsp. molasses 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. chili powder 1/4 tsp. salt Dash of Tabasco 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Cook garlic in oil until tender (or use garlic powder). Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil and pour over drained ribs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. (This may be altered if you don't want it so hot, to taste.) Baste often with the sauce. Serves 6 to 8. This sauce is also very good on chicken or pork chops.
