1 c. butter
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. white sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. cereal
1/2 c. coconut
Options to add:
1 c. M&M'S®
1/2 c. nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. raisins

Cream butter and shortening. Add sugars; beat. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder; add to creamed mixture. Mix in remaining ingredients.

Drop by large rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Let cool slightly before moving to cooling rack. 4 dozen.
