1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 1/2 c. sifted flour

Cream sugar, butter, flavoring and egg. Add dry ingredients. Refrigerate overnight. Roll out and cut in shapes. Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes.
