CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted

All ingredients should be room temperature. Put all ingredients in large mixer bowl. Blend at low speed until moistened. Then beat 3 minutes at medium speed.

Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until done. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes. Then take out of pan to finish cooling before icing.

ICING:

1/2 c. solid vegetable shortening
1/2 c. butter
4 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted

Cream shortening and butter. Add sugar, milk, vanilla and chocolate. Blend on medium speed until mixed well. Ice cake and top with pecan pieces.
