CHERRY CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES 
1 box chocolate cake mix
21 oz. can pie cherries
1 tsp. almond or vanilla extract
2 eggs

ICING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. bag chocolate chips

Grease cupcake tins; preheat oven to 350 degrees and mix chocolate cake mix (use this as the flour) cherries, extract, and eggs. Pour into tins and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool. Icing: Combine sugar, butter, and milk in a sauce pan till boiling. Boil one minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat on add chocolate chips. Cool a little and pour over cupcakes. Kids love them!
